Each morning we start our day with the Power of Yoga, a practice meant to heal & strengthen the body. Most evenings will end with a practice that will help you unwind - whether you plan a night out or look most forward to star-gazing before a restful night's sleep.

While in Cuba we will explore Habana Vieja (old Havana), Playa de Estes (our home base for the week) and take an overnight trip to the Vinales valley (for alittle horseback riding & hiking)
Perhaps the biggest treat during our stay in Cuba is the team of chefs who prepare our meals (a pescatarian/vegetarian diet), salsa with us after dinner and infuse every waking moment of our week with the spirit of Cubans.
The chefs in our kitchen also happen to work at some of the hottest (and highest rated) restaraunts in Habana...meaning, you get creative, soulful and fresh food
all week long without having to brave long lines or marked-up prices.
Many of the recipes we experience during the week
have been passed down generation-to-generation...remember the internet is new and still sparsely used in Cuba - there is no "googling" recipes here.
Just good ol'fashion family tradition and word of mouth.

Once registered, we will send you a confirmation email so keep an eye on your junk folder!
Please arrange flights in to Habana, Cuba to arrive mid-morning or early afternoon on March 5th. Please make sure your passport is up-to-date and if given an option to pre-pay your tourist card (visa) that you do and pick the category "person to person travel".
We will contact you periodically between now and our retreat time with your weekly schedule and preparations. We will also host a zoom call for questions as travel to Cuba is different and requires alittle extra organization.

Deposits and payments are non-refundable.
Travel in the times of COVID have thrown extra hurdles that we want to proactively address.
Cuba currently requires visitors to have proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test (as of Dec 2021) though this may change. Cuba, itself, has currently vaccinated 82% of it's population (90% with one dose). That being said it is hard to predict testing & vaccination requirements or travel policies at this time.
In the event there is a change to the border policies allowing American travelers that prevents us from hosting this retreat on March 5th we will modify our refund policy as such:
-For a disruption that occurs 30 days before our departure date we offer the option of a refund minus a $200 Admin fee OR the option to rebook you on our make up date (which would be determined in summer 2022)
-For a disruption that occurs within 30 days of our departure our entire retreat would be rebooked for 2022/2023 season and your reservation would roll forward with our group
This retreat is a nice option for those who are timid about traveling during this time due to the vaccination efforts in Cuba and the "open air" nature of facilities on the island. Net - there is ALOT done and to do outdoors. Even with precautions we cannot eliminate your risk in acquiring COVID during your travels. We assume no liability whether exposure is within our group or due to casual interactions.
Coming solo but on a budget? It is possible to Reserve a shared room and we will place you with a roommate. In the event you book a shared room and are not able to be matched you will incur a fee to upgrade to a single room.
