Children are sacred members of our community.
Yoga and Mindfulness practices are especially powerful tools for children and can have profound positive affect on their lives.
Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves. Through yoga, kids start to realize that they are strong and then are able to take that strength, confidence, acceptance, and compassion out into the world.
Giving children and teenagers the tools of yoga has been proven to help them communicate effectively, process trauma and lead a more mindful existence. By practicing yoga and mindfulness, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface.
This training teaches a playful approach to kid's yoga that fosters confidence, creativity and imagination.
Learn how to uplift and inspire your students through fun and engaging yoga practices; giving kids powerful tools that will allow them to experience the benefits of yoga and practice them throughout their lives!

Two Weekends
with a 30-HR Immersion
Sacred Yoga's approach to trainings are always centered around embodied-experience because we teach from the space that we know. The program is broken into two weekends, allowing parents and those interested in cultivating yoga within their family or organization a starting point
HOW IT WORKS:
At the heart of teaching is, always, our own innate wisdom which is built from our practice, being present, and our willingness to be vulnerable and share. This is true for all of our immersions but it's never more tru than with our Kids training - which is built on the foundation of play. Our first weekend together is amazing for parents, caretakers, school teachers, or anyone who wants to share yoga with a child in a one-on-one environment or just simply understand children, play and how yoga integrates so beautifully.
Weekend Two, builds upon this experience and brings Certified teachers and those wishing to teach in a group setting full circle. This weekend is often the "missing link" we see with yoga teachers who love kids but have never taught in a child-based environment or struggle to build an engaging, carefree practice that still retains enough structure to keep a cohesive group.
