I’ve found most students don’t know the difference between yin & restorative the first time they practice with me… and it’s not their fault. So if you’re expecting a slow, quiet, and still practice for this Friday’s “Yin for Spring” practice…you’ll be alittle surprised 😮 spring is a time of growth, momentum that needs alittle more movement.

Expect; shorter holds, lengthening shapes (think; you’ll be standing taller), and a little acupressure to help move what’s stuck

Each year I take a small group from our community somewhere beautiful to practice, explore, and reset.
This June we return to Lefkada, a quiet island in the Ionian Sea where the water is impossibly turquoise and the days unfold slowly.
Our rhythm is simple: Morning practice overlooking the sea. Long afternoons exploring beaches or resting by the pool. Evenings gathering again for restorative work and a beautiful meal prepared by our local chef.

It’s a week to step away from the pace of daily life and remember what it feels like to move, breathe, and think clearly again.

We have two private rooms remaining for this retreat.

The only way to learn is to try…between our Beginning Yoga, Beginning Reformer and Link to Level 2 workshops and series this month ~ it is definitely our theme this month

If you’ve been wanting to dip your toe into Level 2 Reformer (it’s so fun!) now is your chance. On Sunday 2/22 we have TWO link to 2️⃣workshops. You’ll learn foundations required to attend Level 2 classes, learn a few of the advanced exercises and have space to ask questions.

We’re excited to have our Parents Afternoons Back this spring, to give one more opportunity for the smalls to slow down. Plus — our new 3:30P Wednesday yoga class for smalls starts next week.

If you want to teach, there is a pathway for certification within the program and if not, you will get to experience & learn more about the full system of yoga…something that can benefit your practice for the rest of your life
