Lead Admin - Sales & Marketing

Job description

Lead Admin / Marketing & Sales

Job description

About us

Sacred Thread Yoga is a small, women-owned, inclusive yoga & wellness studio in the Summerhill area of South Atlanta, GA. We approach yoga as a lifestyle—not just a workout. We believe it’s hard to feel joy when our bodies need to heal and our practices are intended to create space for humans to better understand themselves and their needs & create a pathway toward wellness. We believe our culture often commodifies our physical form, and that our bodies are more than a commodity... We provide services to all ages - from babies to elders and in between.

We are actively searching for an Admin Team Lead to join our team!  This is dynamic role that combines sales, management and strategic thinking.

As an Admin Team Lead, your work often begins managing the flow of students as they arrive for classes. You’re the first face they see, checking them in with a warm welcome and navigating the POS system to ensure everything runs smoothly. Whether it’s assisting a customer with a product purchase in the lobby or answering emails and returning voicemails, you’re the go-to person ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to exceptional service. You’ll also stay on top of entering and updating student information, keeping everything organized and running efficiently behind the scenes.

But your role doesn’t stop at simply day-to-day admin work. As a Lead, you’re also guiding and mentoring your fellow admins and teachers. If an issue arises during someone else's shift, you step in to help troubleshoot and resolve the problem, teaching your team how to handle challenges more effectively in the future. You’ll review sales reports, rectify any discrepancies, and work on improving processes by creating training materials and SOPs that make everyone's job easier. You’re always thinking about how to streamline operations and make the team stronger as a whole.

One of the most exciting aspects of your role is driving the studio’s brand awareness & revenue growth. You’ll take the lead in creating sales & marketing campaigns designed to boost memberships, products, and services. This isn’t just about numbers for you—it’s about viewing sales as an opportunity to serve and add value to our members. You’ll empower your team to execute these campaigns, ensuring they have the tools and guidance they need, and you’ll follow up to ensure that the goals are being met. You’re not afraid of sales; in fact, you thrive on it and inspire your team to feel the same.

When you're not driving sales, you’re busy enhancing our brand & the studio experience. You’re always on the lookout for small but impactful ways to improve the atmosphere—whether it’s organizing a fun activation in the lobby, celebrating student milestones, or throwing a birthday bash for a member. These moments help build a stronger, more connected community, and as the Lead, you're at the heart of it all. You take pride in creating an environment where students feel more like family than just clients.

And, of course, you’re actively engaging with our online community. You’re not just focused on the in-studio experience; you know the importance of building relationships on Instagram, too. You’ll like, comment, and connect with members’ posts, ensuring we remain engaged with our community both online and offline. Your goal is always to foster deeper connections, whether in person or virtually, ensuring our members feel supported and valued at every touchpoint.

  • Be Proactive & Anticipatory: Recognize when help or action is needed before it’s explicitly requested. Anticipate needs, prioritize effectively, and contribute to the studio’s success even during quieter periods.

  • Be a Strong Common Sense & Critical Thinking: Demonstrate a natural ability to think critically, identify gaps, and solve problems creatively. Make sound decisions with minimal guidance and stay calm under pressure.
