RETREAT OVERVIEW
Nature holds tremendous wisdom and the seasonal shift from Summer to Fall feels particularly telling. After the bustle of summer... we invite you to slow down and take in the beauty of the North Carolina mountains with us as for a special 4-day micro-retreat built around a grounding, self-nurturing call to action.
This retreat is lead by Annelise & Stephie, co-owners of Sacred Fire. Each leads their classes with a unique lense guided. This weekend is intended to inspire presence, poise, serenity and - we hope - compel you to slow down and take in the beauty as nature transitions into the depths of fall.

What will my weekend look like?
We believe yoga retreats shouldn't take themselves too seriously - after all yoga is about balance and aligning our many sides as human beings. Each morning will start with an active practice led by Stephie Germann and guided by the science of Ayurveda, curated for Fall.
After breakfast enjoy a nourishing brunch, followed by a day of free time to wander the 22-acre property, explore nearby Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls or Blowing Rock, NC... or find something quaint and undiscovered.
Read a book, talk a walk, watch the color of fall as it creeps into the trees - - - it's totally up to you!
Each evening we'll gather again for a softer practice; from a Restorative Soundbath to Candlelight Yin (guided by Chinese Medicine Theory for Fall) - each night will ground us into self-nurturing, gentle exploration, followed by an early evening dinner.
NEXT STEPS
Once registered, we will contact you to confirm your reservations and welcome you to our retreat. A full itinerary will be available three months prior to departure. We will communicate with you prior to then to get dietary restrictions, yoga history (so we include your favorite postures!), emergency contact info, liability release (if you are new to sacred thread).

Deposits and payments are non-refundable under any circumstances. All terms & conditions are listed at check out. Even with precautions we cannot eliminate your risk in acquiring COVID during your travels. We assume no liability for exposures or trip disruption due to acquiring covid.
Coming solo but on a budget? Reserve a shared room and we will place you with a roommate. Most of our retreat goers book shared rooms and typically don't have a "pre-arranged" roommate. We host a Pre-trip meet up so you'll get the opportunity to make friends in advance if that's important to you. If we are not able to place you with a roommmate 45 days before retreat start, please note you will be upgraded to a single room rate. Failure to pay the additional cost at least four weeks prior to arrival at Moon Rising will result in forfeiting your room and prior payments.
